OCTOBER 7, 2017

Community Fall Festival

  • Located at the Church of the Resurrection (3155 Paulskirk Dr. Ellicott City, MD 21042)
  • Time: 10:00am-5:00pm

For a day filled with food, fun, and fellowship, check out Ellicott City’s Community Fall Festival. An Oktoberfest food court, beer and wine garden, live entertainment, and kids’ games, followed by a special church Mass ensure a great time for the whole family.

Celebrate Baltimore Birds: Fall Fest

There’s no better way to enjoy fall than at this unique festival. Bring the kids down to Leakin Park for a day of live bird shows, rock climbing, “pick and paint your own pumpkin,” and more, all in the midst of the rich hues that make autumn so majestic.

Get your little one into the spirit of the season at the 10th Annual Harbor Harvest. A pumpkin patch, costume parade, hay maze, fall crafts, and so much more promise an unforgettable October afternoon.

AVAM's Free Fall Halloween Celebration

  • Located at the American Visionary Art Museum (800 Key Hwy. Baltimore, MD 21230)
  • Time: 4:00pm-7:00pm

Part of “Free Fall Baltimore,” AVAM’s celebration includes free admission to the museum, plus a free workshop where kids (and adults) can learn how to make Halloween-themed luminary lanterns. Families are sure to have a spooky good time at this one-of-a-kind event.

BOOseum Bash!

  • Located at the Port Discovery Children’s Museum (35 Market Pl. Baltimore, MD 21202)

The Port Discovery Children’s Museum is also getting in on the fun with their BOOseum Bash. Kids and parents can stop by and boogie to some tunes, learn about bugs and animals, and make delicious cinnamon bats; just don’t forget your costume!

2017 Great Halloween Lantern Parade & Festival

  • Located at the Patterson Park Pulaski Monument (27 S. Patterson Park Ave. Baltimore, MD 21231)
  • Time: 3:30pm Festival; 6:30pm Parade Lineup; 7:00pm Parade

Festivities at this magical event kick off at 3:30pm with a family Halloween festival and culminate at 7:00pm when friends and neighbors join in a parade that lights up the night sky. All are welcome, so get your lanterns ready and help bring this celebration to life.

Trick or Treat at the Square

For a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating, check out Belvedere Square’s 6th Annual Trick or Treat at the Square. This event includes a “Thriller” dance lesson, a costume contest, and trunk-or-treating, so be sure to bring your little ghouls and goblins down to the Square this year.

Pumpkin Chucking Weekend at Clark’s Elioak Farm

Close out the harvest season in style at Clark’s Elioak Farm’s Pumpkin Chucking Weekend. Visit the animals, enjoy one last hayride, and then catapult your old pumpkin across the farm. It’s a unique and exciting send-off that’s not to miss.
